Railko
Engineering composites
Railko grades are advanced engineering composite materials, exclusively manufactured by Tenmat. Railko started producing high-quality, self-lubricating components in 1957 and became one of the leading suppliers of bearings and wear parts in the marine and rail industry.
Since 2006, Railko has been part of Tenmat Ltd., merging two companies with a long history of engineering composite production.
Materials
Railko JL31 & JL33
Railko JL31 and JL33 are based on a woven fabric bonded with resin with a friction modifier to give low friction.
Railko JLX
Railko JLX grade has a PTFE surface layer integrally moulded to a backing material.
Railko NF21 & NF22
Railko NF21 and NF22 grades have a resin-bonded composite structure with added friction modifiers to control friction.
Railko PV XtraGlide
Railko PV Xtra Glide slip coats create a low friction surface that is long-lasting and wear resistant.
Railko PV103
Railko PV103 slip coats have been specifically developed for the automotive industry to provide the smoothest surface for glass run channels.
Railko RG15
Railko RG15 is a reinforced composite material exhibiting high strength and excellent dimensional stability.
Railko RG2 & RG12
Railko RG2 and RG12 are based on a woven fabric bonded with resin with the inclusion of a friction modifier.
Railko RG22
Railko RG22 is a synthetic fibre-reinforced material with added friction modifiers.
