Ferosafe was developed from the Ferobide material platform that has proven itself in arduous wear applications, but with added increased resistance to cutting and drilling. It is the next-generation material for defending security products from physical threats.
Ferosafe, dubbed an uncuttable material, is a weldable composite that effectively resists high-power angle grinders and drills at lower thicknesses and weights than what is possible with conventional materials. The material is therefore well suited to increasing security performance on safes, locks and any other security devices without increasing weight or altering overall dimensions.
Being weldable with standard welding equipment ensures a high degree of flexibility, cost-efficient manufacturing and secure fastening with no specialist training required.

Ferosafe lock box
The Ferosafe lock box is the first lightweight container lock box to provide a high level of resistance against angle grinders and carbide drills during theft.
This is achieved by using Ferosafe Anti-Cutting Technology, based on Ferosafe – the next-generation physical security material – which has been specifically designed to defend security products from physical threats.
The Ferosafe lock box effectively resists more than 10 grinding discs and survives more than a battery’s worth of angle grinder attacks without exposing the padlock. This makes it one of the most secure container lock boxes on the market. The padlock is fully enclosed and only accessible from underneath.
